2018 Stumpy Gully Sauvignon Blanc

The aromatics are lush and attractive with baked passionfruit and lychee alongside honeyed orange. Almost a Chardonnay like wine in terms of texture and impact of fruit with tropical notes broad and bold before some grapefruit like texture gives contrast on the mid palate. There is a fullness to finish that suggest some residual sugar, but it is in balance with the flow of the wine; honeyed cumquat to finish.

Not your every day Sauvignon Blanc, in terms of texture and depth, but enjoyable.
