A refined and layered example of the variety that put Marlborough on the map. The nose has passionfruit and guava that is tapered by gentle herbs and cut grass. The palate is afforded beautiful texture with finely tuned acidity and savoury grip allowing a slow build of gooseberry fruit that takes on tarragon like influence. The finish has length and is carried by understated tropical fruits with an almost saline edge, pulling you back for more.
