The Rolls Royce treatment provided to Sauvignon Blanc with free run juice barrel fermented in a mix of new (30%) and 1 year old barrels (70%). The quality and concentration of fruit is paramount given the supportive rather than dominant impact of oak; with balance from start to finish impeccable.
The nose has concentrated lime and boysenberry with a lick of green herbs and faint oak induced spice. The palate is taut and has a saline thread that is moreish; finger limes have punch of boysenberry and citrus zest, with the finishing having incredible drive and vibrance. The best release to date.
