Light yellow in the glass, the nose has some funky characters, with typical viognier apricot fruit shining through. The palate is one dimensional, with stone fruit, nice acidity and some toasted almond characters. The finish shows good length. It will be interesting to see if this wine loses the funky nose, and develops more character in the mid palate over time.
